Robinson Engineering has been recognized as the premier municipal engineering firm in the Chicago Southland for more than 70 years.
Robinson partners with dozens of local municipalities and sanitary districts throughout northeastern Illinois and northwest Indiana to provide master planning, design and implementation of every conceivable type of public infrastructure improvement. We also perform private sector developments for selected clients.
Our main office and corporate headquarters are located in South Holland, IL, about 20 miles from downtown Chicago. As Robinson has grown, we’ve opened branch offices in Frankfort, Bourbonnais, Ottawa and Minooka, as well as in Merrillville, IN, to better serve our clients.
The Robinson Engineering team consists of nearly 110 full-time employees, including 34 engineers and 3 land surveyors, plus a highly skilled technical support staff. Approximately 75% of our engineers and surveyors have registered professional licenses in Illinois and/or Indiana. We also encourage employees to be active in their communities through involvement with local governmental, educational and institutional bodies, local chambers of commerce and youth groups.
